Announcer :>> Today, these 2 players are after lots of money!

Nick Marks comes from PA and is ready to win a lot of money!

Will Reed comes from AK and he's ready to make his HTML page full of money!

Only one of these players can play and win, and if they get the right cards, they can win over $160,000 TGSF Dollars.  But they'll have to risk it all to win it all as we play the net's newest high stakes card game, Champ Cards! <Split Second '87 theme plays>

And now, here's your host, the star of Champ Cards, Robert Searcy!

<Robert (the one who created this transcript page, a.k.a. The Millionaire) walks on stage>

Robert :>> Thank you and welcome to Champ Cards.  This is the game where someone could win over $160,000 TGSF Dollars or lose everything with 1 card.

The object of Champ Cards is to get as close to 21 as you can without going over.  If you have a total of 12 or higher, you may freeze.  There are no ties on Champ Cards.  Once you freeze on a number, you "own" that number and your opponent can't freeze on that number, and your opponent must keep taking cards until the opponent beats you, in that case the opponent wins the round, or the opponent busts, and if that happens, the person who froze wins the round.  There are other things to remember, if a player busts, even if the other player doesn't freeze, the other player wins the round.  If you get 21, you automatically win the round.  If you get a blackjack, which is an Ace and a 10, Jack, Queen, or King, you automatically win the game.  Also, if you win 2 rounds, you win the game.

Our deck consists of 54 playing cards, of course it's a normal 52 card deck plus 2 jokers.  I'll explain more about the Jokers when someone gets one.

Our dealer is dealing out 9 cards from the top of the deck.  Since Nick signed up first, he got to cut the deck, and the deck was cut in front of our studio audience.

Since we have no champion, Nick, you'll go first.  Choose one of the 9 cards on the board, and if you don't like that card, you can take the next card from the top of the deck.  If you take the card from the top of the deck, the card you revealed stays on the board, and your opponent can take it if they wants to, or you can take it if it's still on the board.

Nick :>> #5

Robert :>> #5 is..... <flips card> a 4.  Now you can take that card and put it into your hand, or take the next card from the top of the deck.  If you take the card from the top of the deck, the 4 stays on the board, and Will can take it on his turn.  If he doesn't, you can take it on your next turn, etc.  So what would you like to do?

Nick :>> Next card from the deck, please

Robert :>> Decides to take the next card from the top of the deck.  The next card is.... <takes card from deck and flips it>  a 4.  Same thing you had.

Robert :>> Nick has won round 1.  If he wins another round, he wins and becomes the 1st champion.  Will, you need this round to stay in the game.  We're going to discard the cards on the board and replace them with the top 9 cards from the top of the deck.

<Super Password bonus round cue plays>

Robert :>> Nick, here's how we play our bonus round:  We'll start you off with $2,500 since you won the game and you didn't get a blackjack.  You will bet that money on 5 hands.  Minimum bet on each hand is 1/2 of your money.  First of all, I need you to cut the deck.

<Nick cuts the deck>

Robert :>> Ok.  We're going to deal out the normal 9 cards from the top of the deck.  After we deal out the 9 cards, we're going to give the house 1 hole card and 1 up card.  You take cards like you do in the normal game.  Now we look at the up card is in the house's hand.  Let's see the up card for the house. <dealer flips house's up card>  Oooh.  An Ace.  Nick, before we start with the bonus round, I need you to place your bet for this hand.  Remember, you have $2,500 and you must bet at least $1,250.
