> Welcome to the 1st game in tonight's Weekly Games.
> As you probably have noticed, this is the 1st time that we've played The Dice Duelers on the Weekly Games.
> Also, we usually have Marc Breslow directing the broadcast, but he's at a trade show.
So "Hollywood Squares" director Chris Darley is here, he's doing the show.
Ok, are you ready audience?

> The object of The Dice Duelers is to complete a row of 5 #s by predicting whether the total of the next roll of the dice is going to be higher or lower than the previous total or base total.
> The 1st person to complete their row of #s wins the round. 2 rounds wins the game. And the winner gets to play the Money Dice for a chance at over $20,000!!
[applause]
> The way we decide who plays 1st is I roll the 3 dice. Both players will face our logo and I'll roll the dice. Both players predict what the total of the roll is. The person closest to the total without going over gets control. If both players are over, the one that's closest will get control.
